Rabbi Yisroel Weiss, spokesman for Neturei Karta International, an organization of Orthodox Jews based in Monsey, NY has lent his organization’s support to the protest against Ehud Olmert’s visit to Union College today. Rabbi Weiss stated that members of his group will travel from NYC to join in the 5 PM protest in front of Memorial Chapel. Members of Neturei Karta are opposed to the state of Israeli and believe that, "It would be forbidden for us to have a State, even if it would be in a land that is desolate and uninhabited."
